Northeast Normal University, Changchun, Jilin Province, China: Studied Chinese speaking, writing, grammar and listening in order to further understand the Chinese language and culture.
Substitute Teacher 12/2016-06/2017
District 49, Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA: Was a substitute teacher for K-12. Effectively managed students and carried out lesson plans for the original teacher who couldn’t be there.
Was also an 8-week long-term substitute at Sand Creek High School for grades 11-12. Taught general English, AP English, Yearbook and Mythology. Assigned and graded assignments, and kept up the gradebook until the teacher returned from maternity leave.
